Motion is a creative analytics tool for growth teams and agencies that spend most of their budget on Meta. These are the reasons a B2B team on LinkedIn may look elsewhere. Motion's help center calls its LinkedIn integration a beta, and it supports image and video ads only. Its FAQ says AI tagging is Meta-only. Starter costs $999 a month, per its pricing page.

We checked every fact about Motion on its public pages on 2026-10-22: its homepage, pricing page, FAQ and help center. Each fact names its source in plain text. For the full list, see [the best creative analytics tools for LinkedIn and Meta](/alternatives).

## The best Motion alternatives for B2B

The tools after Nimblet are in no ranked order.

1. **Nimblet.** Nimblet reads your LinkedIn ads at the same depth as your Meta ads. It treats thought leader ads and document ads as their own formats. It shows who saw each ad by seniority, job function, industry and company size. It reads each ad against your company, buyer and competitors, then writes the next brief and ad drafts in your brand. It covers LinkedIn and Meta only.
2. **DatAds.** It fits if you sell to consumers and your budget runs on Meta, TikTok or Google. It analyzes ads, writes briefs and makes finished static ads in variants and translations. Plans start at EUR 199 a month, per its pricing page. We found no LinkedIn ad account connection on its public pages. See [DatAds alternatives](/alternatives/datads).
3. **Superads.** It fits if you want one report across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and Google Ads, with a score from 0 to 100 for each ad. Its help center says Superads AI does not generate ad creative. The Professional plan starts at $125 a month, billed yearly, per its pricing page. See [Superads alternatives](/alternatives/superads).
4. **Segwise.** It fits if you buy on many ad networks, mostly for apps, games or consumer brands, and want finished static, video and playable ads. Its competitor tracking covers Meta, per its LLM info page. It publishes no price. See [Segwise alternatives](/alternatives/segwise).
5. **Claude or ChatGPT with an ads MCP server.** It fits if you run Meta only and have someone who likes to build. Meta hosts an ads MCP server. We found no LinkedIn-hosted MCP server on 2026-10-22. You build the stored read of each ad and the briefs yourself. See [the DIY route](/alternatives/claude-chatgpt-mcp).

## When does Motion fit better?

Motion fits if you buy only on Meta, TikTok or YouTube, sell online and judge ads on purchases. It also connects Northbeam and Google Analytics data on its Pro plan. Nimblet covers LinkedIn and Meta only.

## How does Nimblet differ from Motion for a B2B team?

Nimblet answers the question a B2B team asks after the numbers: why does this angle work on our buyer, and what should the next ad say? It answers from four sources together: your results on LinkedIn and Meta, the read of each ad, your brand context and team documents, and your competitors' ads.

**LinkedIn at the depth of Meta.** Nimblet syncs your LinkedIn ads with images, video, copy and daily results. It labels thought leader ads by author as their own format. It reads the cover page of a document ad and syncs completions and downloads. It shows who saw each ad by seniority, job function, industry and company size. When LinkedIn blocks the copy or media of a thought leader post, Nimblet says the read is partial. See [what Nimblet reads on a LinkedIn ad](/linkedin-ads-creative-analytics).

**A read against your company.** Each ad with spend gets one read, in the background, against the company, product, buyer and market you set. The read names the core message, the emotion the ad plays on, who it blames, the proof, the offer and the person it speaks to. Video ads get a transcript and scenes with time stamps. Nib, the Nimblet assistant, also searches your sales notes, positioning and other documents when he answers.

**The next ad from what already works.** A Nimblet brief starts from your top ads, a counter-example, your competitors' angles, your landing page offer, your documents and the drafts your team already reviewed. Each angle names its persuasion mechanism from a built-in psychology library, such as loss aversion, risk reversal or problem reframing. Separate playbooks for LinkedIn and Meta batches set how a concept must read on each channel. Nimblet then drafts single images, carousels and video storyboards in your brand.

**Competitors on LinkedIn and Meta.** Nimblet pulls competitor ads from the LinkedIn Ad Library and the Meta Ad Library and reads them like your own. It writes a positioning summary per competitor and market news each week. Ad libraries show no spend or results, and the Meta library covers ads that ran in the EU and EEA.

**Where you work.** Ask Nib in the app, or ask in Claude or ChatGPT through the [Nimblet MCP server](/mcp). Agencies get one organization per client, so brands and ad accounts never mix.

## What is Motion built for?

Motion is a creative analytics tool for growth teams and agencies that spend a lot on Meta. Its FAQ says Motion suits teams "launching 10 or more creatives and spending at least $25K on Meta ads per month". The same FAQ lists Meta as the integration that offers all Motion features.

Motion's public pages list these points:

- **Meta data.** Its homepage lists over 200 metrics. Its feature matrix shows video drop-off, audience retention, placement data and AI tagging for Meta.
- **An AI assistant.** The Starter plan includes an AI assistant that you can ask in Slack for briefs, hooks and reports, per the pricing page. The assistant is called Runneth. Per Runneth's own site, it also names and publishes ads to Meta Ads Manager.
- **Attribution data.** The Pro plan adds Northbeam and Google Analytics.
- **Team size.** Motion says 2,100 teams use it, with unlimited seats and ad accounts on Starter.

Most of these points apply to Meta. The next section covers LinkedIn.

## How much of Motion works on LinkedIn?

Motion connects to LinkedIn, but the integration is a beta with a short feature list. Motion's LinkedIn help article (dated August 2026) says:

- LinkedIn is "a brand-new feature that we're continuing to test and improve".
- "LinkedIn data currently works with Top Performing reports only, and grouped by Ad Name."
- Supported ad formats are "Image, Video". Not supported are "Message, Conversation, Document".
- Custom conversions are not supported. Development priority is "Lower than Meta (as of 2025)".
- If a pop-up blocks LinkedIn, you ask Motion about "adding an extra data source to your plan".

Motion's FAQ adds that "Some features like AI Tagging are currently Meta-only." Its feature matrix shows no creative insights, custom tags, video drop-off or audience breakdown for LinkedIn. We found no mention of thought leader ads on Motion's public pages.
