A B2B team on LinkedIn and Meta needs three things from a creative analytics tool. The first is LinkedIn depth: thought leader ads, document ads, and who saw each ad by seniority and job function. The second is the why behind an ad, read against your company and your buyer, not only a score or a tag. The third is the next ad: a brief and drafts that fit your brand.

Nimblet is for B2B teams that run ads on LinkedIn and Meta, in-house or at an agency. You work with it in the app, in a chat with Nib, or in Claude and ChatGPT through the Nimblet MCP server.

Facts about the other tools come from their own public pages, checked on 22 October 2026. Each tool has a page with its alternatives. Each page names its sources and the date. When we did not find a feature, the page says "Not found on their public pages". Check the tool's own page before you decide.

Best creative analytics tools for LinkedIn and Meta ads

The tools after Nimblet are in no ranked order.

  1. Nimblet. Nimblet reads LinkedIn and Meta at the same depth. It reads each ad against your company, buyer, documents and competitors, tracks competitors on the LinkedIn and Meta Ad Libraries, and writes the next brief and drafts. It covers LinkedIn and Meta only. The Free plan syncs and shows your ads. Paid plans add the AI read and MCP. Pro and higher add briefs and drafts. See pricing.
  2. Motion. Motion is a creative analytics tool for brands that spend a lot on Meta. Its FAQ says it suits teams spending at least $25K a month on Meta ads. Its LinkedIn support is a beta for image and video ads, and its AI tagging works on Meta only. The Starter plan costs $999 a month on its pricing page. See Motion alternatives.
  3. Foreplay. Foreplay is a swipe file, an ad search and a brief builder. It starts from other brands' ads. Its reports on your own ads connect Meta and TikTok accounts, and its competitor tracking covers Meta. Its Chrome extension saves LinkedIn ads from the Ad Library by hand. Prices start at $59 a month. See Foreplay alternatives.
  4. DatAds. DatAds is a creative strategy tool for DTC brands and performance agencies. It analyzes ads, finds ideas, writes briefs and makes finished static ads. Its pages list Meta, TikTok and Google for your own accounts. We found no LinkedIn account connection. Prices start at EUR 199 a month. See DatAds alternatives.
  5. Superads. Superads is a creative analytics and ad reporting tool. It scores each ad from 0 to 100 and connects Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and Google Ads. Its own pages say it does not generate ad creative. The Professional plan starts at $125 a month, billed yearly. See Superads alternatives.
  6. Segwise. Segwise tags ads and shows results across more than 15 ad networks and attribution partners. It makes finished static, video and playable ads, mostly for apps, games and consumer brands. Its competitor tracking covers Meta only. It does not publish a price. See Segwise alternatives.
  7. Claude or ChatGPT with an ads MCP server. This is the DIY route. Meta hosts an official ads MCP server. We found no LinkedIn-hosted one on 2026-10-22. You build the stored read of each ad, the brand context and the briefs yourself. See the DIY route and its alternatives.

How to choose

Start from the channel that carries your budget.

  • LinkedIn carries budget and you sell to businesses. Test how each tool handles a thought leader ad and a document ad. Nimblet reads both. Motion, Foreplay and DatAds support LinkedIn only in part, as the list above says.
  • Meta, TikTok or Google carry most of the budget. Motion, DatAds, Superads and Segwise connect more platforms than Nimblet does.
  • You need finished ads at volume. DatAds and Segwise make finished ads. Nimblet drafts images, carousels and video storyboards.
  • You want to build it yourself. The DIY route fits a Meta-only team with a technical person.

Then run one test in any trial. Open one LinkedIn thought leader ad or document ad in the tool. Check that the tool reads the ad itself and keeps the format apart. Ask why your best ad works, and check that the answer names your buyer and your offer. Last, ask for the next brief and see if it fits your brand.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best creative analytics tool for LinkedIn ads?

For a B2B team on LinkedIn and Meta, Nimblet is built for that pair. It reads thought leader and document ads, shows who saw each ad by seniority and job function, and writes the next brief and drafts. Checked on 2026-10-22: Motion calls its LinkedIn integration a beta for image and video ads. Foreplay saves ads from the LinkedIn Ad Library, and its analytics product connects Meta and TikTok accounts. DatAds searches and saves LinkedIn ads for inspiration, and connects Meta, TikTok and Google Ads accounts, not a LinkedIn account. Superads says LinkedIn support is fully available. Segwise lists LinkedIn among many ad networks.

Can I use Claude or ChatGPT instead of a tool?

Yes, for the numbers. Meta hosts an ads MCP server. We found no LinkedIn-hosted one on 2026-10-22. You then build the read of each ad, the brand context and the briefs yourself. See the DIY route and its alternatives. Nimblet also works inside Claude and ChatGPT over its own MCP server.

Does Nimblet have a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan syncs and shows your LinkedIn and Meta ads with their numbers. The AI read of each ad, briefs, MCP and competitor monitoring need a paid plan. See pricing.
